👂Animals may not use spoken language like humans, but they’re AMAZING communicators! Elephants flap their ears and rumble to greet each other, s***m whales change their clicks depending on their audience, and we all know how well our pets "talk" to us. 🐕🐱
Some animals even mimic other species! The African drongo, for example, copies distress calls from different animals to trick them into dropping their food, pretty sneaky! 🐦💨
Your pets might not be that devious, but they’re definitely listening, so be careful what you say!

🔊What are decibels, and why do they matter for your hearing?
Decibels (dB) measure sound intensity, aka how loud or soft a sound is. For example:
🔸 30 dB: A whisper 🗣️
🔸 60 dB: Normal conversation 💬
🔸 90+ dB: A hair dryer 💨
🔸 120 dB: A rock concert 🎶 (ouch!)
Sounds at or below 70 dBA are safe for as long as you want! Whereas sounds at 80 dB+ can cause hearing loss if you listen to them for more than 8 hours at a time.
