If we truly want to teach our children to have good manners and show empathy for others, we have to first act as good role models. Help your child learn empathy with these tips.

Empathy involves the ability to understand someone else's perspective. In other terms, i is looking at life from another person's shoes and understanding how they feel about it. In a world where bullying is prevalent in schools and society, teaching our children how to be empathetic is more importan...

It is common for a student’s day to consist largely of sitting at a desk and listening to a lecture. The “one size fits all” approach to learning is flawed because it assumes all students learn in the same ways. As you watch a child grow and learn, it quickly becomes obvious that each child has their own way of learning and interacting with the world. This is where multiple intelligences and learning styles come in.

It is common for a student's day to consist largely of sitting at a desk and listening to a lecture. With student-centered learning, the students are more engaged and achieve more. This is where multiple intelligences and learning styles come in.

Every other Thursday a group of our Preschool children will have the opportunity to visit the Rye Public Library. The library hosts a planned story time, and we will also spend some time choosing books to borrow for the classroom.

Welcome to the Preschool group. We look forward to working closely with you and your child, to ensure a comfortable and enriching experience for all.

Our environment is set up to meet the needs of each individual child as much as possible in a group setting. Infants are fed, diapered and napped according to their needs.

We ask parents to provide us with information about your child’s routines, before their first day, to help us become familiar with your child’s schedule.

Infant Handbook | The rules and regulations for parents with infants in child care. Teachers are always recognizing children’s developmental needs and can accommodate all children no matter what classroom they are placed.

It is apparent that play is essential to the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of our children. As parents, we love to see our children playing. They create ideas and learn about the world in new ways as they play. But what exactly is the link between play and learning?

The result is children that are more prepared for school and will grow up with the skills they need to fully reach their potential. But what exactly is the link between play and le...

A 2012 study at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, published in the journal “Developmental Psychology,” found that children who attended a high-quality daycare were more likely to go on to college, have a job, and delay having children.

Little Angels Child Care Center | Our program prides itself on achieving the highest standards of care for young children. We firmly believe that, with teacher facilitation and extension, children learn best through play.
