I live a mile from the office and have a truck with 4-wheel-drive so I rarely, if ever, close for inclement weather. I'm here until noon as per my normal Wednesday office hours. That being said...

If you don't have a reason to be out in this, please stay home. It's nasty out there. I'll be here for you after you dig yourself out tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the last Wednesday of the month, and you know what that means: I'm at VT taking care of their employees (so the office will be closed).

"No fair!" I hear you shouting through your computer monitor, "I want to have my employer provide an awesome benefit like on-site adjustments!"

That's easily remedied: just have your boss or HR person call the office to set something up. It's a lot of fun for me to get out of the office for a change of pace, too!

It's time again to pick your insurance plan for next year. As a reminder, Jenkins Chiropractic is in network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO plans, United Healthcare, traditional Medicare, and all Iowa Medicaid MCOs (Wellpoint, Iowa Total Care, and Molina). This includes all affiliates that may be under the umbrella of these parent companies.

We are NOT in network with the BCBS HMO plans, nor ANY Medicare Advantage plans except for United Healthcare. We were previously a participating provider for Humana Medicare Advantage, but will not be as of January 1, 2025. At this time, we do not plan on joining any network to which we do not already belong.
