“Hi everyone!
Many of you have been asking, and we are sorry to share that there will be no kids’ ice fishing derby this season.
We had to make the tough call due to the unforeseen closing of the establishment/spot we previously used for hosting.
Safety and having a reliable, warm place to gather (especially with kids) is our top priority, and we just couldn’t find a suitable alternative in time this year.
That said, we’re already looking ahead to next season! We’re searching for a warm, welcoming indoor location (or nearby facility) to host the event on the ice that is friendly and accessible.
— if you are a venue that could donate space to host next year— please drop a comment or message me! 100% of profits is donated back to the community. If a local non-profit wants to jump onboard to assist, and help out-reach out!
We want to keep this tradition going for the kids and families in our community, and your input would mean a lot. Thanks for understanding, and stay warm out there! 🎣❄️
