King’s Peak in the High Uintas— the tallest peak in Utah at 13,528. We hiked a total of 26 miles and climbed 5,180 feet in elevation. This was a hike of endurance with lower oxygen levels, the mileage and the terrain. I am grateful we all peaked and no one succumbed to altitude sickness.
