🍓 On Monday, we kicked off the week with sweet treats for National Strawberry Sundae Day! Our residents enjoyed every scoop and sprinkle! 🍨

Today, we kept the fun rolling with a Country Western BBQ! From delicious food to friendly games like horseshoes, cowboy hat ball toss, and even a shooting zone challenge — our residents and staff were all smiles and full of spirit!🤠🤠🤠

Last Wednesday was a blast here at Seal Rock for our carnival themed barbecue!
We brought the carnival fun to our residents with games, laughter, plenty of smiles and balloon animals with the amazing Angelique! 🎈

We also enjoyed some fresh air and sunshine with Chat Trike rides thanks to our friends at Age Friendly S**o ☀️!
Our residents had an unforgettable time filled with joy, movement, and connection. We love making memories like these!

🎂 Happy 103rd Birthday to our incredible resident, Irene! 🎂

We celebrated this amazing milestone a little early on Tuesday with a special visit from Mayor Jodi MacPhail and Ernie Merritt who joined us in honoring a century-plus of memories, wisdom, and smiles. Irene was presented a S**o Centenarian Award and a beautifully handcrafted cane by Ernie!

Here’s to 103 years of a life well-lived!

🌧️ The weather may have rained on our barbecue plans yesterday, but we didn’t let that stop the fun!

We brought the 1980s barbecue indoors and turned up the good vibes with a dance party in every dining room! 💃🕺 From retro tunes to bright colors and big smiles, our residents had a blast keeping the spirit alive—rain or shine!

🌞 And today, we made the most of the sunshine! Residents enjoyed trike bike rides with Age-Friendly S**o and even got in a few friendly races playing Mario Kart 🎮 It was a day full of fresh air, laughter, and a little healthy competition!

We love making every day an adventure—rain or shine! 💖

Today, we celebrated the wonderful fathers in our community with fresh donuts, coffee, and special boutonnieres to honor just how special they are. 💐🍩☕️

From all of us to all of you—Happy Father’s Day to the incredible dads, granddads, and father figures who fill our lives with wisdom, strength, and love. 💙

Wonderful Wednesdays at Seal Rock Healthcare! Every Wednesday
our residents have a themed barbecue!
Last week we brought the magic of Disney right to our courtyard with a **Disney-Themed Barbecue!**
From Mickey ears to princess crowns, our residents and staff dressed the part and enjoyed a day full of smiles, songs, and smoky-good BBQ!

🌽Today, we kept the fun rollin’ with a Crazy Corn BBQ in celebration of National Corn on the Cob Day! 🌽Residents enjoyed buttery corn, corny games (yes, we went there!), and lots of laughs throughout the day.

And in between? We packed the week with engaging activities, crafts, games , a performance from S**o River Band from our Summer Concert Series and Trike Bike Rides from Age Friendly S**o on “The Chat”!

Every Wednesday brings a new reason to celebrate—and we can’t wait to see what next week brings!

We enjoyed perfect weather while celebrating life and community yesterday with a special butterfly release, delicious barbecue and finished our day with Age Friendly S**o and their amazing volunteers with rides on their trike bike “The Chat”!!

Seeing the joy on everyone’s faces as the butterflies took flight was truly magical. Thank you to all our residents, volunteers, families, and staff who made yesterday so special. 🦋

Here’s to more sunshine, smiles, and unforgettable moments this summer! ☀️
