I just emailed the following letter to my State Senator, and my State Representative. If you live in Maine, please consider writing your State Legislators to advocate for the passage of the supplemental budget in order to close the gap in MaineCare funding. An easy way to do that is to visit https://resist.bot/ where a Facebook Messenger chat bot will figure out who your Legislators are, help you write your letters, and email them for you. If it isn't immediately clear what to do when the Messenger bot starts up, send it the following prompts, one at a time, in sequence:

At the top of Fresh Start Counseling's page is a pinned post from December about the fact that Uncle Sam may be on the verge of making telehealth services less accessible to patients. Since December, a "stay of ex*****on" was passed, that kicked the can down the road. However, largely due to President Trump and Elon Musk's opposition, the pandemic era changes that made telehealth more accessible are set to expire on March 31st. Please consider writing a letter to President Trump letting him know that you strongly support preserving the expanded telehealth flexibilities that were originally authorized in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. An EASY way to do that is to visit https://resist.bot/ where a Facebook Messenger bot will help you compose your letter, including addressing and SENDING it for you. If it isn't immediately clear what to say to the Resistbot when it pops up in Messenger: First send the word "resist"; and after the bot replies, send the phrase "WRITE PRESIDENT". The bot will then give you simple instructions for how to proceed.

You can either write the body of your email manually, or you can just give the bot the salient details, and it will use AI to write a polished email for you.
