After teaching my brand of yoga with horses 140 times to 3200 students I’ve redefined it in the coronavirus world we all live in. Four days a week for 10 hours a day my dreamy horse Hercules and I are visiting hospitals, Veterans centers, cities and neighborhoods. Sometimes we all have to redefine who we are, and we we do and occasionally it has the same or greater impact. Today we are off to Portsmouth NH to make a few thousand people smile. That’s also yoga with horses.

Message to Coast of Maine Yoga Retreat House yoga retreat leaders and attendees. As you might suspect those of us that host yoga retreats along with yoga retreat leaders, studio owners and yoga teachers have watched our 2020 yoga event /class calendars evaporate. The events that are taking place are unprecedented in the last 75 years. To reach out I will be hosting at least four weekends this falls for retreat leaders to join us to heal, be with each other and get out of the house. Maybe drink more🍷 wine than usual. My heart ❤️ goes out to you with all that is happening. My horse Hercules and I hope to see you soon and wish you the best. We are here. Gerry

Have you been to the Coast of Maine recently? Do you lead groups on yoga retreats? If you lead retreats would you like to “join us” with other retreat leaders for 2-3 nights? Our Coast of Maine Retreat House is a fully restored 1856 brick ships captains mansion hosting groups of 12-32 in our 11 bedroom(27 bed) property. We practice yoga at our lighthouses, in our mansions grand yoga studio, paddle board, kayak, whale watch, bike and sail. We are ideally located in S**o, near the water and 20 minutes from Portland airport. On March 27-29 and May 8-10 we are hosting our annual weekends for “retreat leaders” . The cost for retreat leaders is $125 for two-three nights housing and two breakfasts. We eat out at three coastal destinations for our other meals. 🧘🐴 Any guesses who this is? Massive hint - It is an international yoga teacher who has a yoga discipline named after her. This picture is from my teaching yoga with horses at the Wanderlust Yoga Festival in Stratton with eight yoga teachers on my teacher training team, and six horses over four days. Good times… 😊
