i finally have a sewing area set up! We have a small area of flooring left some molding and paint then we can set the drop ceiling and be done!

Does anyone have a piece of this fabric? i need a light blue strip at least 3”.

I have had my cataract surgery and everything went great although I’m not able to lift anything for a week so I did sit down and start drawing to figure out what I was going to do on the tulip quilt and I have figured it out so hopefully I’ll be showing you that soon. I also went downstairs to find another UFO that I have been working on now this UFO I had to purchase some blue fabric well when I brought the fabric upstairs it is not blue. It is black 6 yards and now I’m upset because I had the shop owner help me so I’m guessing maybe we both have bad eyes but this fabric is not blue. It is black but I can use it for the tulip quilt so that’s OK. I also found patterns for the appliqué for the purple and green quilt. The quilt that I was long arming is halfway done and I expect to get to it this weekend and to finish it and then I will be putting my Bible quilt back on my long arm as that is halfway finished and I want to get that done. It feels good to get UFOs finished, but I am very anxious to get onto some new projects too, but I’m being good and I’m going to finish my UFOs first. Happy Quilting.

Well i’m back to this one the pattern called for a scallop border. i’m not fond of scallop borders on large quilts so i need something different so there it lays and here i’ll sit staring at until it clicks “i’ve got it!” let’s hope it doesn’t take long lol (yes i know it needs a good press)

i’m so glad these borders are finished! Ugh 😩 you know there’s an Amish tradition that you never swear or work while angry on a quilt or the person who receives it and sleeps under it will have bad dreams …… this one is going to be hanging on a wall 😂

i’ve got two more quilts done and my honey is doing the finish work on my studio side. The flooring is to the double doors we need 12 more pieces of sheet rock and i can start getting the furniture for that area which is just a sectional and a coffee table i guess it’s called.

I’ve got 3 borders on
and as hard as this was (again i have no pattern) it’s laying pretty flat and that’s a good thing. Still needs a good press also

She’s coming alive! i just did the sashing and i can’t do much more my neck is still stiff so that’s it for a few days. i’ll get some swimming in this week that should help.
