I reach out,
but my words fall quietly,
as if they were never meant to land.
I speak,
yet nothing seems to hear me.
So we build shields—
thin walls made of memory and fear,
calling them protection.
We turn inward,
mistaking survival for living.
We tell ourselves
everyone is the same,
that closeness is dangerous,
that distance is safer.
And we cling to this fragile illusion,
naming it safety.
But what if they are not the same?
What if they arrive carrying something new—
not harm,
but a different way of being?
What if they are here
to remind us how to live,
not with clenched fists,
but with open hands?
What if the ones we push away
are the very ones
our souls have been waiting for?
And what if growth
is not found in armor,
but in the trembling choice
to be seen,
to soften,
to step beyond comfort—
and trust
that becoming requires risk?

The darkness that you see is a projection of all the fear that you are holding within you. someone has come to you and shows that there is another way but instead of understanding he is immediately rejected by your fears. Someone that is able to see the light that you refuse to see in yourself you called him evil because he does not pray the same way as you but holds the light for many to remember who they are. He continues to hold the light in his heart and sends love to the ones that are suffering even though his own heartache for everyone deserves to feel love, everyone deserve connections, everyone deserve to be happy. As long as we hold on to the pain, the grief the guilt we will continue to dim the light that is within us.

As you are busy finding fault with the person that is doing everything to support you they are slowly distancing themselves and knowing what they deserve. As you choose to be ungrateful there are people waiting for the kind of love this person is trying to show you. The choices we make can affect others and although it's not our job to monitor or hold back how we feel there is a way to say things and take accountability for our own actions. Are we reacting out of our own trauma and heartache are we choosing to punish the people that are before us for past treatment of of others. Are we projecting what is our own to process and heal?
