This week we’re proud to highlight Joshua and Matt, who have been thriving at their jobs at CharQterie in Natomas!
For the past few months, these two have shown dedication, teamwork, and a strong work ethic — and it shows. They continue to excel in their roles all while having a smile on their face every day.
We’re especially excited to share that Joshua and Matt were even mentioned in the Natomas newspaper, N Magazine, for their first day on the job (see attached!)

Lavonne:
-What is one of your favorite memories this year from program?
My favorite memory in the program was taking my participants to their first day at their paid internship. Being able to support them through everything that comes with starting something new, and then seeing how proud they were of themselves at the end of their shifts, was such a rewarding experience.

Jazzy:
-What is one of your favorite memories this year from program?
One of my favorite memories this year was when we did Karaoke and games together during a Fun Friday. I got to sing and hear everyone else sing too!
