It's DSP week! 🥳 DSP (Direct Support Professional) Week is a national, annual event held in September to honor the vital work of Direct Support Professionals who help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live independent lives 🥳 Shout out to DSP Kerry from Blue Heron Programs, pictured here supporting participant Abiah at the microenterprise fair.

September 7-13 is Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recognition Week! We are grateful for the amazing DSPs who provide services to clients in our catchment area. Their contributions are an important and significant part of the work we do!

Very exciting news over here! After completing the paid internship program, Kyle impressed the team so much that the business hired him into a competitive integrated employment, meaning he is now employed directly by the company. This is a huge step toward independence and success, and we are honored to have supported him on his journey! We are so excited for Kyle! 🥳🥳
