The International Day of Charity 2025 theme is announced each year by the United Nations to guide global awareness and activities. For 2025, the official theme will focus on spreading global generosity and strengthening community support.

UCP programs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities and helps participants connect with their communities and the people around them, help us continue to expand our programs so that we can reach even more possibilities of supporting our participants and our community.

We are pleased to introduce UCP's two newest team members!

Meet Cody: Cody is a 30-year-old Paint Quarter gelding. He comes to UCP with experience as a lesson horse along with being an experienced therapy advisor.

Meet Sky: Carmel Sky, who goes by "Sky" is a 21-year-old Palomino Tennessee Walker. She is full of character and is looking forward to helping child and adults.

Both of our new employees are a ton of fun, as you can see from their photos. We're giving them a little bit of time to do their onboarding, complete their training, and get used to their new office space. We expect them to be running the Saddle Pals program soon.

"Why golf and the Capital Cup – besides my love of the game? UCP launched a golf program last year! They have been providing monthly golf lessons and have partnered with great community partners to ensure that I may have some tough competition on the greens next year, in addition to all the amazing work they do every day to ensure life without limits for people with disabilities."
