Volunteer training spots still available for UCP Saddle Pals program. We are looking for 10-12 more people to join us for the volunteer training program.

SADDLE PALS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Saddle Up! Are you interested in helping others live a life without limits? Enjoy being outdoors? Love horses? This is the job for you! No previous horse experience is required!

UCP is hosting mandatory volunteer training for Saddle Pals.
(Saddle Pals volunteers must be 16 years old.)

Training Dates and Times:
Thursday, Feb 19 – 3:00pm-6:00pm: Session 1
Friday, Feb 20 – 3:00pm-6:00pm: Session 2
Saturday, Feb 21 – 9:00am-12:00pm: Session 3

Thursday, Feb 26 – 3:00pm-6:00pm: Session 1
Friday, Feb 27 – 3:00pm-6:00pm: Session 2
Saturday, Feb 28 – 9:00am-12:00pm: Session 3

Where: SHA (Sacramento Horsemen’s Association): 3200 Longview Dr, Sacramento, CA 95821

Training Format: Classroom + hands-on barn/arena practice.

IMPORTANT: Volunteers must complete Sessions 1-3 (9 hours) to complete the training series and be eligible to volunteer for Saddle Pals.

RSVP by Wednesday, February 18, at 5pm. Email Cameron at cmoore@ucpsacto.org or call (916) 283-8317 with your date and time selections. First come, first served! Maximum capacity of 10 per session.
