Grief doesn’t follow a timeline.
It doesn’t look one way.
It doesn’t mean you’re broken.

Tomorrow is National Grief Awareness Day, a day to honor every person carrying loss, whether recent or long ago.💙

What actually happens at a funeral?

For many, it’s a time to honor a life well lived, support grieving loved ones, and share stories that keep someone’s memory alive.

A funeral may include:
• A service or ceremony
• Music, readings, or personal traditions
• Burial, cremation, or other final arrangements

There’s no single way to say goodbye. Every family and every farewell is different. What matters most is that it feels meaningful to you.

🌿 Whether you’re planning ahead or supporting someone through loss, understanding the process can offer comfort, clarity, and peace of mind.

Some goodbyes stay with us forever, because the love was that deep, that meaningful.

This week’s affirmation reminds us that grief is often the shadow of something truly beautiful. If saying goodbye has been hard, it’s only because your connection was rare and real.

🌳 Hold on to that love. It’s what made the goodbye worth so much.

They’re the quiet meals, the shared glances, the sound of your loved one’s voice telling an old story.
