Since its inception, Inspired Wellness has sought to stake a claim and give a facelift to the way the world views being 'healthy'. It was not long ago that we found ourselves perplexed: it seemed, after years of positive progression in countless areas, that the world was going backwards when it came to health. And how could this be, with trainers and nutritionists and weight loss programs in ample supply? Then we realized what most of those trainers and nutritionists and programs are teaching, and it all made sense: health is much more than the ability to zip up one's skinny jeans or tighten the last notch on the belt. It has always been the dream of Founder and CEO Sham Sanghera to provide a unique wellness model that delivers far beyond the confines of gimmick and revenue driven weight loss industry tactics, and this sentiment is echoed in the countless ah-ha moments clients continue to experience. Most have worked with a slew of trainers, counted points and calories, taken pill after pill and still not seen what continued success and progress looks like until they worked with Inspired Wellness. The ONE SECRET that will help you create habits that stick?

Embrace consistency, not perfection.

Your brain is always wiring and rewiring neural pathways, which is why it takes anywhere from 21 to 250 days to truly establish a habit - because everyone is different.

Introducing, your RAS. Your Reticular Activating System (RAS) is like your brain’s filter - it brings more of what you focus on into your awareness. Want to see more wins? Train your brain by tracking them daily. The more you notice progress, the more momentum you build.

Here’s a quick start guide:

1️⃣ Morning check-in: Right after waking up, note your sleep quality and morning routine habits. This sets the tone for the day.

I’ll be honest. Some days, I don’t know what to write about on here. I love sharing tips and tricks, but I know that’s the surface stuff. I also like sharing the heartfelt messages, like the one I was inspired to write after my check-in with my wonderful client Latasha.

She’s grow in immeasurable ways, and she told me recently that this is the first program she’s ever stuck to longterm 🥹

So first, let’s toot the horn for her. At our check-in, Latasha celebrated:

💦 Staying on that hydration game
📖 Journaling on the daily
💪🏽 Making it to every booked workout session
🚗 Work/life balance

And most importantly …

Choosing HERSELF first, so that she can show up fully in her life.

PLEASE, let this be a reminder: your journey is so much more than the number on the scale.

Achieving your goals is to become a different person - to embody different beliefs, habits and thoughts.

To have the courage to say goodbye to what isn’t serving you and welcome, with open arms, what nourishes you (that includes people).

When you go from “snatched, bikini body” to 👉🏽 “who do I desire to be in this world, and how can embodying my healthier self support that?” a whooole new world opens up.

Don’t let the mainstream media poison your sense of self and what you “should” want.

Go deeper and see what truly motivates you in this lifetime.

THAT is your North Star. Not having a bikini body 👙

And to be clear - rock the bikini body too - but don’t create the masterpiece that is your life, on a foundation of goals that are too surface and shaky to withstand the ebbs and the flows of a health journey.

What lights you up? What could you do all day, that time just evaporates? I bring this up because …

Show of hands, who here feels like weight loss is just … miserable?

The conventional way of achieving it usually means you’re:

❌ Tired
❌ Socially isolated
❌ Starving
❌ Oscillating between giving up and sticking it out

… which means the other parts of you, the parts that bring you to life, slowly whither away in the shadows of your goals.

But what if we told you that reaching your goals doesn’t have to mean losing yourself and your joy in the process?

In fact, reaching your goals should infuse life INTO you. It should give you the energy to conquer whatever you set your mind to.

This is possible when you break up with extremes and embrace the fluidity, the marathon that is life.

We can only sprint for so long …

So today we want you to think about what brings you joy. What do you love to do, that you get totally lost in it?

And then we want you to choose a date on your calendar (seriously, go grab your calendar!) and schedule 30-60 minuets for this activity.

You are a whole person. And you are so so so much more than your weight loss goals 🫶🏽
