POV: someone tells you “just don’t overthink it.”
And suddenly I’m overthinking…
→ if I’m overthinking too much
→ if I’m overthinking my overthinking
→ if people can tell I’m overthinking
→ if I should stop overthinking about whether I’m overthinking (??)
Meanwhile my brain: “congratulations, you’ve unlocked the bonus round of overthinking about overthinking about overthinking.” 🌀
It’s funny until it’s not, right?
Because what feels like a silly spiral on the surface can actually leave you stuck, exhausted, and anxious underneath.
Here’s the good news → you don’t have to live in the spiral forever.
