Walking the the streets of Del Paso Heights is definitely different from just driving by it. When I walked the streets Sunday Saging and praying for my people I could definitely feel more of the energy and the emotions of the people which had me overcome with emotion especially certain blocks that have been met with violence.

Two things happened as I saged the sidewalks that will forever stick out in my mind. The crow that started crowing at me and followed me leaping from one tree to the next down an entire block. The white homeless lady that stopped me spread her arms out and said “Please will you sage my body?” And the cop that rode by nodding and waving at me as if to say “I see you and I know why you are here and I support it”

I’d like to send a special shout out to Laura MmaMma Laura Cook for being with me in spirit & encouraging and guiding me through the day. Love you so much for that.

I’ll be making this a practice of mine Monthly and not just when tragedy arises. I walked alone Saging for probably about a mile and it was the most beautiful moment I’ve had in a while. 🤲🏾✨💜🪬
