Wisdom Wednesday at Golden Pond!

Today our residents enjoyed a Lunch & Learn with JR Fujita who shared the Six Pillars of Brain Health. His practical tips and interactive style made it an engaging and valuable workshop!

We’re grateful to JR for joining us and look forward to welcoming him back next month when he’ll share smart ways to save money. Thank you so much to his lovely volunteer, Theresa, too! We appreciate you both!

Golden Pond Fair is one of our favorite traditions, and this year did not disappoint. It was a full day of fun for all ages with delicious food, a petting zoo, balloon twisting, face painting, hair chalking, games with great prizes, local vendors, senior resources, and even a little off-roading on some pretty awesome mobility equipment!
Thank you to our Activities Director, Tandy, for planning such a fun and meaningful event.
And a huge thank you to everyone who helped bring it to life. It's always such a joy to see our residents surrounded by family, laughter, and community.

✨ Wisdom Wednesdays has officially begun — and we’re off to an inspiring start! ✨

A heartfelt thank you to Diane and Tiffany of New Leaf Senior Transitions for joining us today for our very first Lunch & Learn in the series. Their session, “ Downsizing and Decluttering Your Home” was full of practical tips, heartfelt stories, and gentle encouragement for anyone feeling overwhelmed by “too much stuff.”

This dynamic duo shared wisdom from years of helping older adults downsize with compassion and clarity — and we are so grateful to have kicked things off with them!

To all who attended: thank you for coming, learning, laughing, and leaving just a little more inspired to create space for what matters most. 💛

Mark your calendars for the next one! We’re excited to welcome Sheri from New Leaf back on Wednesday, June 25 at 11 AM for another Lunch & Learn, this time focused on Managing Paper Clutter. (Because if your “important papers” are living in five different drawers… this one’s for you. 😅
