July is Uterine Fibroid Awareness Month — and at California IVF, we’re here to help you understand how fibroids may impact fertility and reproductive health. ⁣

Uterine fibroids (also called leiomyomas) are noncancerous growths of the uterus that often appear during childbearing years. While not all fibroids cause symptoms, some can lead to fertility challenges, including difficulty with embryo implantation or increased risk of miscarriage.⁣

🩺 Many fibroids are first discovered during fertility evaluations. A pelvic exam or ultrasound can often detect changes in uterine size and shape, and further imaging like CT or MRI may be used if needed.⁣

Early awareness and diagnosis can make a meaningful difference in your fertility journey. 💜✨
