To all the recent followers of the Se-REM page, Thank You for your interest. I have a request. Se-REM is offered as a public service. It was only after using it in my private practice for 10 years, with nearly all my clients, that when I retired, I felt a responsibility to continue making it available. It can be almost miraculously helpful to those who use it.

But, the costs involved in running the website keep rising. In the near future, the project may not meet its expenses. Please consider purchasing the download. Even if you are fortunate enough to have no past trauma, you may someday face something that you need help in processing and getting back to normal. You may know someone who you could help by forwarding Se-REM to them.
If you cannot afford the $19. purchase, and still want the program, write to me and I will send you a free link. Se-REM has helped several thousand people overcome past traumas. It is in use in 36 countries, but the potential for this groundbreaking therapy is still unfulfilled. It has not been tried or adopted by a single institution. It needs a “proof of concept” environment. If anyone who reads this post works in an institution with a confined population, a hospital, group treatment center, a prison, a residential treatment center, or an institution with a large waiting list, this offer could change your whole culture.

Did you see this week's 60 minutes news program, Feb. 2? It told the story of 9 Veterans with PTSD going to Mexico to experience native healers using Psilocybin and M**A to help the Vets recover. The program never mentions EMDR! They missed the most effective treatment for PTSD. The vets spent thousands of dollars. Meanwhile, Se-REM can eliminate all symptoms of PTSD, and stress and anxiety with 2 at home sessions. Total cost $19. It is too simple and too inexpensive for the VA to take notice.

Have you heard of Se-REM? (Self effective - Rapid Eye Movement). Many people don't know that REM brain activity dramatically improves the processing of traumatic emotion. It creates peace and empowers the listener. Se-REM is an advanced version of EMDR therapy. Occasionally, I like to post a recent review, so here is something new: Grace W. Reviewed Se-REM (Self Effective - Rapid Eye Movement)!
This is an incredible tool. I am very experienced with self healing tools, from hypnosis, EFT, EMDR in therapy sessions, psych-K, havening, kundalini yoga, To Be Magnetic reprogramming - this was an incredible emotional release for me over something I had no idea was holding. The sound is great. I'm a bit younger, so to me, it had a really cool vintage 1970s California vibe. I loved it. What a powerful healing tool. THANK YOU

I am always grateful when a person new to using Se-REM writes to me to tell me their experience. Thank you Anna for sharing your story.

"Hello David,

It’s been almost a week since I started using your program and wanted to give you some feedback.
First of all, I am totally hooked! My very first experience was the most intense. It involved a great deal of sadness and crying, however, I allowed my emotions to just be and offered myself much comfort, understanding and love. I use the program every day, once a day, with the exception of maybe one day when I was too tired from work and ended up falling asleep early in the evening, but resumed therapy the next day. Each time I listen to the program, I feel more secure, comfortable with myself and less sad. I noticed (others around me included) that I am calmer, my nervous system not as sensitive as it used to be to outside circumstances. I feel positive, more deserving of love and excited about life. My mother noticed a huge difference in my attitude towards life in a very positive way and that I am in control of my emotions, not reactively, but rather selectively with a positive attitude towards everything and everyone around me. I feel, like I said, a great deal of love: deserving it, excitingly awaiting for it and receiving it.
I have already shared my experiences with family and friends and have given your information to a few people who are interested in SE-REM and will soon be purchasing it from you.
If there is anything you want to recommend at this point, I would be happy to hear your thoughts. In the meantime I will continue to share my experiences with others.

In an article by Carolyn Todd in the NYT Dr. Dasgupta was quoted, "REM is critical to our emotional health and brain function - and even potentially our longevity". Matthew Walker, professor of neuroscience was quoted, "If you've ever gone to bed upset about something and woken up noticeably less bothered, its likely a result of the emotional processing and memory reconsolidation that happens during REM. There's evidence that your brain divorces memories from their emotional charge - removing the sharp, painful edges from life's difficulties. REM is like a form of overnight therapy".
