I had a wonderful time speaking at the ANJC (Association for New Jersey Chiropractors) this past weekend on behalf of ChiroPreferred. The energy at the convention was amazing. I was also honored to participate in ChiroThon for F4CP (Foundation for Chiropractic Progress) while I was there. Dr. Sherry McAllister continues to amaze me with her leadership and commitment to the chiropractic profession. Special thanks to Dr. Steven Clarke for introducing me to everyone and making me feel ao comfortable

I will he back in the office on Friday 5/23/25. I look forward to seeing you😊.

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone for their kind words. Hearing your memories of Mickey has helped soothe my sad heart. I am especially touched to hear from some of you that I have not seen in quite awhile. I am glad Mickey made an impression and thank you so mich for reaching out and commenting. ❤️

Today we said goodbye to our sweet Mickey. He was a legend at Dehn Chiropractic. He loved to greet the patients and get scratches. Many of you have seen him grow up from an 8 week old puppy to a 16 year elder dog. You saw his resilience after his injury 6 years ago that left him paralyzed in the back end. Thank you for continuing to love on him and accept him with his mobility limitations. We were dedicated to making the best life for him and we will miss him terribly. Special thanks to all of those that helped us keep him comfortable and happy including his animal chiropractors, Dr. Katie Manfredi and Dr. Pamela Riggs at Elemental Chiropractic. His veterinarian, Dr. Dustin Noack. Most of all his pet sitter with Animal Care Specialists, Sue. She has been there through it all with him and never hesitated to learn how to care for his special needs. RIP Mickey💔

Sharp pain on the bottom of the foot with the first couple of steps in the morning? As long as you aren’t stepping on a Lego, this is a classic symptom of plantar fasciitis. 🦶

There are several different treatment options for pain relief.

✅ Gently stretching the plantar fascia
✅ Taping the foot to help with arch support
✅ Adjusting the foot joints to improve biomechanics
✅ Strengthening the small muscles of the foot

All of which we do at our office! Give our office a call to schedule your appointment today! 🗓️ Check out this video for more information! https://www.youtube.com/embed/lkPJARZB0qs?rel=0

Is there such a thing as too much core activity? 🤔

For low back pain rehab, the emphasis is often on engaging the core muscles. But sometimes, the core muscles already engage too much as a protective mechanism.

So, low back pain treatment isn’t as simple as activating the core muscles more.

Figuring out which muscles engage too much or not enough is an important piece to treat low back pain. Call our office, and let us get to the root of the problem! 📞

Feeling like things are spinning? 😵‍💫

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV for short) is a common reason for dizziness. This problem happens due to small displaced particles in the inner ear.

A treatment called the Epley maneuver is an effective option for repositioning small particles in the inner ear and relieving that spinning sensation.

Of course, it is essential to accurately diagnose what is causing the dizziness or vertigo, so make an appointment for a thorough evaluation today! 🙌

Whiplash injuries can damage muscles and ligaments in the neck, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced range of motion.

Along with chiropractic adjustments, specific neck exercises can help reduce neck pain and restore function after a car accident. 🚗

If you or someone you know has been in a recent car accident, a full assessment is essential to ensure a full recovery.
