A deep pantry changed everything for our kitchen.

Fewer grocery trips, less stress at dinnertime, and way less money wasted on impulse buys — all because we keep the foods we actually use on hand.

You don’t need a huge house or a massive budget to do this. Just a few intentional staples and a simple system.

Save this if you want your kitchen to feel stocked, peaceful, and easy 🤍

Sometimes the best gifts are the ones that keep growing. 🌱

This garden-inspired Easter basket from is filled with hands-on activities instead of sugar overload — things like seed balls, bumblebee garden, seed pops, and even microgreens kids can grow themselves. 🌱🌼

My kids loved coloring the seed gardens and planting them in the soil. Now we are just waiting for the flowers to sprout. Checking on them has become a meanful moment they looks forward to every day.

If you’re looking for a more intentional Easter basket this year, this one is such a fun option. Snag your Garden-Inspired Easter Basket on Amazon Now and save 10% off with my code: SALTSHEA10

Filling raised beds doesn’t have to cost a fortune.

Here’s the layering method I use to fill mine the budget-friendly way:
1. Cardboard or recycled paper
2. Sticks, twigs, and small logs
3. Grass clippings, dried leaves, or yard waste
4. Older dirt or basic topsoil
5. Quality organic raised bed or potting soil + amendments

Now you’ve got a nutrient-rich bed ready for planting 🌱

You don’t have to make everything from scratch. ‼️

But if you pick one thing — make it bread/baked goods.

It’s a staple in most homes, and the store-bought versions are often packed with enriched flour and ultra-processed ingredients that wreak havoc on our bodies.

Swapping that one category for homemade can be a quiet little game changer.

Start small. Start simple. Start there.

If you love cooking from scratch and knowing what’s in your food, follow along. 🥰

A few years ago I stopped buying convenience foods and started buying ingredients instead so I could control what we eat and stretch our grocery budget further. Flour, beans, milk, and meat in bulk go a lot farther than boxes and packages ever will.

Now our pantry is simple.
Our meals are nourishing.
And our kitchen actually feels calm.

This year I’m sharing exactly how we do it. One ingredient and one habit at a time so you can build a pantry that feeds your family well without wasting money or relying on ultra-processed food.

Next week I’m starting with flour. The one ingredient that replaces more store-bought food than anything else 🤍

Save this if you want a kitchen that feels stocked and intentional without hemorrhaging money.

I’ve been at War with Gluten and other food ingredients that have made me sick my whole life…. Even though I was eating GF I was still sick…… I had no clue how much I was affected by all the enriched additives, Folic Acid, and other nasties that were added and disguised as “safe”. Making my own became the ONLY thing that truly made a difference.
