Seniors at John Knox Village in Florida are proving that you're never too old to experience something new—thanks to virtual reality! A 91-year-old Army vet, retired teachers, and others participated in a Stanford study showing that VR boosts joy, sparks memories, and even strengthens bonds with caregivers.

Whether it's catching butterflies for rehab or revisiting a favorite neighborhood, VR is becoming a powerful tool for connection, wellness, and wonder.

🪩 Think breakdancing is just for the kids? Think again!

Meet Ara Style Senior—Japan’s only breakdancing crew made up entirely of older adults. These b-ladies, including a 74-year-old surfer and classical dance master, are flipping the script on aging with every spin and freeze. 🌀

From “chair freeze” moves to big performances at local festivals, they’re proving that it’s never too late to try something new, stay active, and have a whole lot of fun.

💬 Would you join a senior breakdancing crew?

A 74-year-old surfer and master of classical Japanese dance may seem an unlikely member of a seniors' breakdancing group, but Saruwaka Kiyoshie said getting her feet wet in the sport was a no-brainer after it was confirmed for the 2024 Paris Games.
