🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟
We are thrilled to welcome Amy Naranjo as our new Workforce Initiatives & Special Projects Coordinator!
Amy was born and raised in California in a proud Hispanic/Latino family, where her passion for health education and advocacy began early. As a first‑generation university graduate, she has built an impressive academic foundation—earning an associate’s degree in Biological Science from Reedley Community College, a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from San Jose State University, and a master’s degree in Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States.
Over the past decade, Amy has served in a wide range of healthcare roles, including health care aide, health educator, community health worker, and healthcare administration. Among her most meaningful experiences, she is especially honored to have worked with Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural populations, providing culturally responsive health education and connecting families to vital resources.
In her new role, Amy will support innovative workforce initiatives, build community partnerships, and help advance access to care and health education throughout the Central Valley. She is passionate about motivating and guiding younger generations into healthcare careers and expanding research‑based health information in underserved communities.
Please join us in welcoming Amy to the team — we are grateful to have her and excited for the impact she will bring to our workforce and the communities we serve. 💼💙
