From water and land use to nutrition and the communities dairy supports, conversations reflected how connected the industry is and the value of how continued cross collaboration will become for our future.

The summit also created space for partners, board members and colleagues to connect, while also celebrating women leaders across California dairy, including Dairy Council of California board members Maureen Lemos and Arlene VanderEyk..

Our Story

At Dairy Council of California and HealthyEating.org we elevate the health of children and families through the pursuit of lifelong healthy eating habits. Funded by California's dairy farm families and local milk processors, Dairy Council of California's science-based nutrition education resources, Mobile Dairy Classroom assemblies, training programs and online tools reach millions in California and throughout the United States. We believe in healthy eating patterns with a variety of foods from all the food groups, and that milk and dairy foods like yogurt and cheese are essential to healthy eating patterns. Registered dietitian nutritionists review all nutrition articles and create practical and nutritionally accurate tools for use in the classroom, in health care or counseling settings or in the home.
