Beth D. Baus dbd Our Healthy Families Marriage and Family Therapist and Author Beth D. Baus holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a master’s degree in Theological Studies.

She is an adjunct professor for Wilson University and has taught at the college level for over 18 years. Beth has authored 6 books and facilitates a variety of seminars, women’s conferences, and marriage retreats both nationally and internationally. Her private counseling practice is located in Sacramento, California where she lives with her husband of 40 years. Beth and her husband Mike have 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren.

This past weekend, we had the honor of being part of an incredible Men of Honor Conference at Folsom Prison—and it’s something we will never forget.

Jesus said in Matthew, “I was in prison, and you came to visit me.”
This weekend… that scripture came to life.

Around 80+ men showed up for this 3-day event—hungry, open, and ready.
We didn’t just gather… we encountered God.

We sang.
We worshipped.
We preached.
We shared.
We repented.
We got real.
We dug deep.

And in those moments, you could feel it—God was moving behind those walls.

One of the most powerful moments for me was asking the men, “What do you need?”
Their response was simple… and it hit hard:

“We need someone to come in and teach us the Scriptures. We meet every Saturday morning and do our best… but we want to learn more.”

These men are showing up—week after week—doing everything they can with what they have.
That kind of hunger is something you don’t ignore.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible men who answered the call and came to serve:
Pastor Wylie Rhinehart, Pastor James Chesser, Pastor John Rhinehart, Rev. Danny Barber, and Keenan Hoffman.
Some traveled a long way to be there—and your impact mattered more than you know.

Lives were touched.
Hearts were softened.
Seeds were planted.
And hope was stirred again.

And this is just the beginning…

We are already scheduled to go back in October—and we believe God is going to do even more.

Because no wall is too high…
no past is too broken…
and no life is too far gone for God to reach.

Revival doesn’t stop at prison gates.
