A little Street Art in the vein of Banksy illustrating that words perhaps hold truths we don't always see.
A 'lie' in believe, an 'end' in friend, maybe it's not about avoiding them - but seeing them, being ware of them and still choosing to love, trust, and live life to the fullest anyway.

In the abundance of doctorly caution, a few words to remind our pregnant moms and their families to take precautions in hot weather. Temperatures are expected to be relatively mild - low 90s - through Sunday, but heat-related symptoms can arise more quickly during pregnancy.

Pregnancy naturally raises your body temperature and affects how your body handles heat. Overheating can increase the risk of dehydration, fainting, swelling, and cause complications. Staying cool is essential for both your health and your baby’s.

Hydrate regularly – Aim for at least 8–12 cups of water daily; consider adding electrolytes.

Stay indoors midday

Dress in breathable layers and apply sunscreen if outdoors.

Rest often – Elevate your feet and take breaks in cool environments.

Eat light meals rich in water content (fruits, greens, etc.).

Be alert to warning signs such as dizziness, swelling, headache, or reduced fetal movement, contact us promptly if they occur.

We’re here to support you. If you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to call. In an emergency call 911.

Big, beautiful bill cuts to healthcare ..... because nothing says “freedom” like fewer doctors, higher costs, and longer waiting times.

I am astonished with such an unpopular policy proposal with consequences as devastating as the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

$863 billion in Medicaid cuts over 10 years

$295 billion in SNAP (food assistance) cuts

New work requirements and eligibility checks for Medicaid that will push millions off coverage, even those who qualify

Elimination of coverage for key women’s health services, including abortion and adult gender-affirming care

A projected increase of 16 million uninsured by 2034, per the Congressional Budget Office

This is not just about insurance. It’s about removing access to basic prenatal care, postpartum follow-up, contraception, and cancer screenings.

Nearly 50% of all births in the U.S. are covered by Medicaid. For many patients, especially in rural areas or underserved communities, there is no alternative. These cuts will widen existing disparities, increase maternal morbidity, and strain already vulnerable hospitals.

……. and the national debt will increase by $3.4 Trillion, yes TRILLION dollars.

This is not reform. It’s disassembly.

Healthcare is being treated as expendable. The impact will be felt immediately in emergency rooms, clinics, and delivery units across the country. That anyone would want this is shocking to me.

This week, the Supreme Court ruled that states can block Medicaid patients from using Planned Parenthood—even when it’s the only nearby provider for reproductive and preventive care.

At the same time, Planned Parenthood affiliates announced the closure of at least 20 clinics across several states including Minnesota, Michigan, Utah, New York, and a few others. This means fewer places for patients to get birth control, STI screenings, cancer checks, and yes, abortion care, but also all the routine exams so many women rely on.

For many, Planned Parenthood isn't “an option.” It is the only option. The loss of these clinics will create real gaps in care, especially in rural and low-income communities.

No matter where you stand politically, this is about access to basic health services. We can and must do better as a country!
