Members got the opportunity to attend a building class at The Home Depot. A huge thank you to Kirk and Kimmy at the Carmichael Home Depot, for planning a scavenger hunt and teaching our members all about using basic tools! Members built their very own planter box, which they designed and painted themselves. Such a wonderful day! 🧡

Members spent time with the lovely folks at Sunrise Senior Living, helping plant a beautiful garden. For some members, this was their first ever volunteer experience! Our members did such a wonderful job, and had a very positive day. Great job everyone, and thank you to Sunrise Senior Living for having us! We appreciate your hospitality and kindness. 🌷

Today our animal loving members had the opportunity to learn about reptiles. Members who were interested, joined a class led by our very own POD Leader, Jessica! Members got to interact with geckos, hognose snakes, and a chameleon! 🦎🐍

For today’s activity, members showcased their incredible teamwork skills during a cooking competition at Carmichael Park! Members learned how to prep, cook, and serve food. Each team worked together to create a masterpiece that they presented to judges, and enjoyed themselves. Great job everyone!

We provide a safe space for our extraordinary individuals, to thrive, improve independence, explore their passions, and learn about the opportunities that exist within the community.
