hello friends! i’m so overjoyed to announce a new mutual aid herbalism project we are starting, and humbly asking you to share this message to help spread the word, and to consider a donation to help support our efforts.
with the ever growing need for accessible wellness resources, have long been trying to figure out how make herbalism more available to our community, and how to be able to give back in a sustainable and long term way. my specific goals are:
-build a community garden to grow organic medicinal plants and food
-to be able to distribute low and no-cost teas, tinctures, and produce to community members in need, made directly from what we grow in the garden
-host a seasonal free clinic where folks can come receive both herbal education and herbs to learn how to support themselves with plants
everything we grow and make will go directly back into the community-this includes you! everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of our garden!
right now i am reaching out the community to help get our mutual aid program off the ground. i have secured and paid for a community garden plot down the street from the shop, and have purchased some seeds, soil, and compost. but i can’t do it all on my own. we take over the garden plot next week, and i want to get plants established asap before the sacramento summer heat sets in!

-purchasing more seeds and starts to fill our 20’ x 10’ garden plot
-purchasing organic soil amendments to enrich our soil
-purchasing plant supports like a small trellis for climbing plants, pots, small hand tools
-purchasing packaging like bottles for tinctures, bags for tea, and ingredients for salve making
