our next gathering is here, and i’m so excited! fall is absolutely my favorite season. september is also my birthday month, and the 19th is a beautiful mesh of equinox, the new moon, and our 6 month shop anniversary!!

for this gathering, i want to celebrate YOU. this beautiful community that has supported me & my work from the beginning. this is a free event, i’ll be offering herb-inspired food and drinks, and we’ll culminate the evening with a cauldron release ceremony. i hope to see you there!❤️🍂🍁🍃

everything i’ve gathered from the shop for in preparation for a new moon ritual gathering:

-my favorite tarot deck for guidance
-singing bowl (air) to open and close the circle
-dream tokes (fire) for stimulating and opening the mind
-bay leaves (earth) for intention setting
-herb salt (to add to water) for cleansing & nourishing the physical self

this new moon is potent, its energy has building for some time, and i look forward to the shifts it’s bringing forward ❤️

hey friends, i’m so excited to introduce a new wonderful person to you all! jailyn is a budding herbalist & our new apprentice. you’ll be seeing her around the shop and at the market from time to time, including this saturday! come by and meet her!🥰

Hello everyone!! My name is Jailyn and I have recently started volunteering over at Plants and Provisions with Clair and it has been such a great experience. I love all things earthly, especially our Sacramento Farmers Market’s which I will be at this Saturday! Please feel free to come say hello if you’re in the area and get some amazing products!!

i did a thing!! i decided 2025 was the year to just go for the things i’ve had bouncing around in my head. 😅 so i opened up a shop, and then i applied for this course with that i’ve been wanting to do for years! alchemist does amazing work around food access and equity, they run a bunch of farmer’s markets, and have several courses to help folks launch food business.

if you’ve been following my journey for a while, then you may know that i love to cook. food is a source of joy, and nutrition is important to me-it’s helped me manage my own health issues like pcos & ibs 💩👀 i also love to cook for others. pre-pandemic i was driving all over boston as a private chef for folks on special diets.

since returning to california, i’ve wanted to bring a food aspect back to the business. this course with alchemist really helped me get a plan narrowed down, and taught me a lot of things i didn’t know around licensing & insurance. adult things that i usually like to avoid 😂

i have my work cut out for me though-so i won’t be launching right away! i’m hoping for a fall roll-out, but i am also allowing myself a little downtime to rest and enjoy summer! i am just so excited and inspired, and can’t wait to share this side of the business with you all!

May hours are here! Same hours as last month-the consistency feels good and it seems like it’s working for all of us. The only exception will be that the shop will be closed the 9th through the 11th. i’ll be vending at the Whole Earth Festival in Davis, an event i’ve been attending in some capacity since i was first a student…in 2001!! 😳😂👵🏼
