Leadership at its finest! We are thrilled to announce our Class of 2026 Leadership Graduates. These dedicated directors committed themselves to 24 months of intensive training with Crestcom to become even better leaders for our SRG Senior Living community.

Music is such a powerful tool for wellness. 🪇 🎵

We were so happy to have Susan from EmpowerMe Wellness lead a special music-and-movement class for our Enliven residents! She explained how rhythmic cues do more than sound good. They actually help improve mobility and coordination. It was wonderful to see our residents so engaged. Thank you, Susan!

The lights were bright, the chips were clinking, and the room was buzzing... Casino Night was a full-house HIT!

River's Edge residents tried their luck at the poker and blackjack tables, refueled with snacks straight from the kitchen, and soaked up incredible live entertainment all night long. And yes… Dean Martin and Marilyn Monroe even made a cameo, turning the evening into a true throwback. We wrapped up by celebrating three top prize winners and raised over $700 for the Mustard Seed School! 🎉

What a treat to step through time together! We welcomed United Women in Faith for a Fashion Show featuring their collection of clothing from the 1800s through the 1960s, and every look felt like a living history lesson.

Our residents watched as each piece came down the “runway,” pointing out details and soaking in the story each decade had to tell. We also took the time to think about all the decades all our residents have seen and lived through. Thank you to this special group for bringing such a meaningful and beautiful event to River's Edge! 👒✨

Our Lower Body Fitness Class likes to keep us on our toes, sometimes literally... by walking backwards!

This fun twist on a familiar move was perfect for and great for balance, working muscles we do not always use with regular walking. Plus, it makes your brain pay attention in a whole new way! 👟

Happy ! 🧩

We caught Tawny and Charles hard at work on the community puzzle over in Independent Living, and just a building away, our Assisted Living crew had their own team tackling pieces, too.

We keep a community puzzle board in both buildings so anyone can stop by, add a few pieces, and be part of the "bigger picture." With all these helping hands, we’re finishing about one puzzle a week!

"With these hands, I raised four kids."

River's Edge celebrated with a special project called "With These Hands." It was a beautiful way to honor the stories and hardworking lives of our residents!

Donna shared that with her hands, she played the trombone, worked in the Sears catalog department, and raised four kids. Mary used her hands to work as a secretary and teach elementary school. We are so honored to hold these hands today!
