We offer a variety of treatment options that range from individual or family therapy to our more intensive and structured Family Intensive Outpatient Program. Dr. Tony Paulson of Sierra Treatment Center of Sacramento has specialized in treating eating disorders for more than 20 years. His comprehensive and evidence based outpatient program offers a variety of services that enable patients to receive expert care while remaining at home and continuing their day-to-day activities including school or work.

Sierra Treatment Center of Sacramento announces an internship opportunity in the treatment of eating, anxiety and mood disorders. This intensive training program combines didactic learning with clinical experiences including individual and family therapy, groups, and psychoeducational classes.

This internship is designed for those who have graduated with a masters or doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling or marriage and family therapy and who want clinical experience and supervision in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, and mood disorders. Interns will gain experience working with individual, families, and couples. This internship includes:

• Clinical supervision
• Didactic learning experiences
• Experiential activities
• Clinical experiences
• Paid stipend
