Nurses…this one’s for you!!!
Lisa brought in some fellow nurses to Yin Yoga today, and let’s just say she showed them how it’s done.

Last week at work, the younger nurses were joking about not being able to touch the floor. Lisa-who’s nearing retirement-walked right up, bent over, and touched it with ease 🙌.

Nurses, you pour your heart, time, and energy into caring for others. But remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Yin yoga gives your body a deep release, your mind a pause, and your spirit a rest.
💙 Take care of yourself first…so you can keep taking care of everyone else.

Meet Linda, 66 years young, took her first hot yoga class, a gift from her daughter, and crushed CAMEL POSE!!! 🏆. Proof that’s it’s never too late to start, to surprise yourself, and to discover what your body can do. We’re just getting started❤️.

Before the ground was even broken on Natomas Yoga Studio, there was a little two-year-old girl standing outside the window, pressing her tiny hands to the glass, looking in with wonder at what was to come.

That little girl is my daughter, Dani Grace.

Some of you have watched her grow up here — from pulling herself up on the windowsill to now being a teenager at 15 years old.

Time passes, life changes… but this studio has stayed steady through it all. A space built on hope, sweat, and the belief that transformation happens one breath, one day at a time.

We’ve shared 13 years of stories, strength, and new beginnings here.

If it’s been a while since you’ve been in this room, that’s okay.
Maybe today is your day to “break ground” again.

Today we celebrate 13 years!

Thirteen years ago, I opened the doors to this studio with a heart full of hope, a love for hot yoga, and a dream of building a place where everyone could find strength, healing, and community.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed so many incredible transformations — not just in bodies, but in hearts and lives. Watching people show up for themselves day after day, through every season of life, has been the greatest gift.

Thank you to every single person who has stepped onto a mat here, shared your energy, your laughter, and your journey with us.

Here’s to every drop of sweat, every deep breath, every moment of courage, and every friendship made along the way.

You are the magic. You are the reason we’re still here.

Cheers to 13 years — and so much more to come.

I’m forever grateful.

September is National Yoga Awareness month, but we are not waiting. Natomas Yoga is offering a free yoga class. Wednesday and Thursday, August 28th and 29th, all classes on the schedule are free to new practitioners. Pick one and come practice. We can't wait to meet you!!!
