Thank you for your ongoing support of our students, our department, and the broader community.
Though official “Give Day” has ended, there are still many impactful ways to support our program, including contributing to the DPT Scholarship Endowment, the REACH Clinic, the Physical Therapy Adult Neurologic Clinic, or the Physical Therapy Fund, among others.
Your generosity helps us navigate ongoing budget challenges, sustain our community-centered clinics—such as the no-cost orthopedic REACH Clinic—and provide vital scholarships. It also supports faculty and student research presentations at conferences, travel, and other essential program needs.
With your support, we can continue providing the resources our students need to thrive—both during the program and in their professional journeys.

Last week, our doctoral students successfully presented their research on, “Interdisciplinary Care for Patients with Persistent Symptoms Following Concussion: An Updated Systematic Review,” as well "Comparisons of a Student-Run Clinic Patient Demographics to a Community Health Needs Assessment" at the Graduate Research Showcase held at the University Union.
We are proud of their dedication to these important projects and their willingness to share their work with fellow graduate students in a university-wide forum.

DPT representation was in full force this past Saturday, March 22nd, at the Center for Health Practice, Policy, and Research’s “Athletes Interrupted” event at the Harper Alumni Center. The day featured a keynote by Dave McGillivray, Race Director of the Boston Marathon, followed by several panel discussions. Among the speakers was our very own Dr. Brian Moore, who shared his expertise on Traumatic Brain Injury, and DPT alum Dr. Aaron Crouch, who participated in a discussion on Youth Sports: Health, Wellness, and Balancing Parental Expectations. Our students, Jessica W., Jacky V., Natalia S., Yesenia Y., and Helinna L., represented our department by tabling for the REACH community clinic alongside Dr. Garcia and Dr. Green!
