Thank you for your ongoing support of our students, our department, and the broader community.
Though official “Give Day” has ended, there are still many impactful ways to support our program, including contributing to the DPT Scholarship Endowment, the REACH Clinic, the Physical Therapy Adult Neurologic Clinic, or the Physical Therapy Fund, among others.
Your generosity helps us navigate ongoing budget challenges, sustain our community-centered clinics—such as the no-cost orthopedic REACH Clinic—and provide vital scholarships. It also supports faculty and student research presentations at conferences, travel, and other essential program needs.
With your support, we can continue providing the resources our students need to thrive—both during the program and in their professional journeys.

Sacramento State is where futures begin! This April 17-18, consider supporting the Department of Physical Therapy’s REACH clinic because it fosters leadership, creates comprehensive real time opportunities for students to work with various patients, serves the under-insured and uninsured population in our communities, and supports student research. Join us in making a difference!

Last week, our doctoral students successfully presented their research on, “Interdisciplinary Care for Patients with Persistent Symptoms Following Concussion: An Updated Systematic Review,” as well "Comparisons of a Student-Run Clinic Patient Demographics to a Community Health Needs Assessment" at the Graduate Research Showcase held at the University Union.
We are proud of their dedication to these important projects and their willingness to share their work with fellow graduate students in a university-wide forum.
