Asian Pacific Community Counseling

APCC provides mental health & wellness services to API communities. APCC emphasizes strengthening individual, family and community support systems.

APCC specializes in unique cultural and linguistic approaches to meet the diverse mental health and wellness needs of the API community. Relationships, family support and group self-sufficiency are key components of the diverse groups we serve. We encourage and assist individuals to find their own path to managing their own recovery and to get support when they need it. Families receive education on how they can support their loved ones and access available resources. In partnership with other community-based organizations and government agencies, APCC promotes a thriving, healthy and productive community.

APCC shares a insightful story from Brother Be Well, a fellow nonprofit focused on mental health based in California.

Counseling delivers assurance during our darkest times. In the final installment of Perspectives on API Mental Health, Brother Be Well Host and Content Director, Michael P Coleman, and youth guest, Isaiah Aitolu, reflect upon a mental health counselor who changed Isaiah’s life.

Happy belated AAPI Heritage Month!

For the month of May, we took the opportunity to reflect on the amazing community we serve and the consequential impacts that Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders have left on history. Thank you so much to our team for supporting our local API communities. Breaking the stigma against mental health counseling a little at a time.
