Hello everyone! We are having a laboratory tour August 4, 2026 at the UC Davis CLS Lab!
This lab has a cap at 30 students, so make sure you RSVP on our discord! There is also a waitlist as well, we prioritize sac state students and SALS members alum for this tour!

In order to keep the club active for next semester a president and treasurer must be elected AT MINIMUM. It is imperative we keep the club going to further provide students with exposure and opportunities in the lab world. Being an officer is great experience to have on your resume, you get to work with a hardworking team of passionate individuals, and also make new connections— friendly and professional!

On Friday, May 1st 1-1:50pm in SQU 338, Orca Bio (a local biotech company) is going to be presenting about potential job opportunities for post grads. If you are interested in biotech and want to stay in Sac (they’ve hired a lot of Sac State grads), then definitely check this event out (:

Friday April 17, 10:30am— Jackson Lab RSVP dates will be April 8th with more information on our discord about signing up! Limited spots available.

Thursday April 23, time TBA— study session for upcoming exams, many members would be focusing on hematology bio 124, but this is open to any and all members who want to study with others and find members with similar classes!

Thursday April 30, 5:00-5:30pm— a short zoom session with Dr. Johnson about CLS program accreditation! Come for a quick presentation done by him with a Q&A as well!

Friday May 8, 3:00pm— Crime Lab Tour, RSVP by May 1, this is also a limited spot tour! So stay tuned on our discord!
