Last month we reached our 100-participant milestone and today we got to celebrate with the Habitat Health community!

This isn’t just about reaching 100—it’s about celebrating the families who’ve invited us into their lives and trusted us with their health. Since launching in January, we’ve already seen the incredible impact of what happens when compassionate care meets community.

We’re deeply grateful to our care team for their dedication, and to our participants for the spirit of collaboration that makes this milestone possible.

Here’s to the first 100, the many more to come, and all the good days ahead!

Who knew talking about health care could bring this much joy!?

Our Sacramento PACE center was buzzing this week with cameras, lights, and plenty of laughter as participants shared their stories on film.

Different backgrounds, different journeys, but one thing in common — the way they feel can't be defined by age.

Habitat Health is so much more than an alternative to nursing home care. It's a place where seniors can find community, and share the things that bring them joy.

This week Habitat Health participant Ms. Garland led a class on crochet, and her students loved it!

Research shows that people age 65 and older with hobbies report higher levels of health, happiness and life satisfaction; and when that hobby is shared as part of a group or team, they also get the benefits of socialization and are less likely to feel anxious or stressed (UCLA Health).

Thank you Ms. Garland for taking the time to share your hobby with your Habitat Health community, you made it a great day for all who joined!

Exciting news from Habitat Health with Kaiser Permanente’s PACE Program in Sacramento!

We are thrilled to share that our Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is now accepting applications and enrolling new participants. 🎉

PACE is a Medicare and Medi-Cal program designed to provide comprehensive medical and social care for older adults, so they can live safely at home with the support of a dedicated care team.
