In the age of an "opioid epidemic",
with commonplace misuse and abuse of opiates that are not detected with current federal testing protocols-do you feel that your pilot should continue to have the right to take Percocet, OxyContin, Norco or other sedating medications due to a medical condition?
****Consider that current, valid
prescriptions are privately reviewed by a medical doctor prior to having a "positive" drug test. ***

Would we discover that pilots are abusing these medications and compromising passenger safety?

BREAKING NEWS! The DEA has upheld the schedule I classification of ma*****na because "no drug product made from ma*****na has yet been shown to be safe and effective in -"adequate and well-controlled clinical trials." However, in support of ongoing research the DEA is accepting applications to manufacture ma*****na to supply researchers in the United States. The DEA, FDA and NIH "fully support expanding research into the potential media utility of ma*****na and chemical constituents."
