Why Community Acupuncture? There are so many reasons! We believe that all humans should have access to affordable healthcare, and that is why we try to make our treatments as accessible as we possibly can. SAP will be open our normal hours Tuesday, February 17th.

As we usher in the Year of the Yang Fire Horse, we enter a cycle defined by unparalleled energy, passion, and rapid movement. In the Chinese Zodiac, the Horse represents freedom, independence, spirit, and raw power, all qualities that drive us to break boundaries and race toward our goals with unwavering courage.

In Five-Element theory, Fire embodies brilliance, warmth, and dynamism, while Yang energy speaks to action, expansion, and outward expression. Unlike the quiet introspection of the previous year, the Fire Horse demands that we step into the spotlight and live with intensity.

This combination suggests that the year ahead will be one of bold breakthroughs and decisive action. It is a time to harness your inner fire to fuel your ambitions, staying as resilient and spirited as a galloping stallion.

Acupuncture needles come in various sizes, but here at OAP all of our needles run between 0.16mm to 0.22mm. Most patients report feeling nothing at all to a slight sensation upon insertion, and then they take a nice little acu nap. Book an appointment today to get your nap on: https://buff.ly/45pxhuA

Why Community Acupuncture? There are so many reasons!! In the US we are not really used to community healing spaces. It might even seem weird at first to get acupuncture and nap in a room with other individuals. But we find that with time, this thing that feels foreign, often becomes what patients love best about us. Book an appointment today to harness that community healing power: https://www.vagaro.com/saphyh

Everyone reacts to acupuncture a little bit differently. The most common feedback we get is that patients feel calm, peaceful, or maybe a little bit tired or heavy during or after a treatment. Sometimes the opposite is true though and patients report increased energy, energy movement, or digestive stimulation. These feelings are often combined with a reduction in pain, swelling, or other symptoms we are working on, though sometimes symptom changes are not immediate. For the most part patients leave feeling better than when they came in, but if this is ever not the case please let us know and we can adjust your next treatment.
