Two patients of mine. One involved the entire lower teeth & one was a single upper front tooth. Which one was more of a challenge? It was the single tooth ceramic replacement. To match it exactly with the adjacent natural teeth is very difficult but after a few try ins & shade/characterization changes we did it. Now we can replace the nearby non-matching ceramic when my patient is ready! The lower case was to restore the worn lower front teeth from a lifetime of bruxism (grinding & clenching). We have to obtain space so I bonded composite (acrylic) to the tops of the back teeth then I could add composite to the fronts. This was done in one long appointment. We will wait months & adjust the bite as needed before replacing the composites with ceramic.
