Folsom hall was buzzing last Friday! 🐝🐝

110 high school students were hosted by the School of Nursing as they got to learn more about the program. The students were able to tour the sim lab and get to see the high fidelity mannikins, labs, blood pressure stations and got to practice CPR! 🩺

Thank you to the teachers and chaperones for joining as well and to the student volunteers that made this event happen! 🐝

A big congratulations to HHS’ very own Dr. Danielle Slakoff for receiving the New Scholar Award from the American Society of Criminology! As well as being one of the speakers for the conference that was held in Washington D.C.

She presented on her co-authored research on co-victims’ beliefs about the ethics of true crime and what constitutes ethical storytelling.
