Congratulations to Bianca Esparza, second-year Au.D. student, for winning the CSU Trustees’ Award for Outstanding Achievement! 🎊

This prestigious honor recognizes students for their academic performance and resilience. Bianca represented Sacramento State last month during the CSU Board of Trustees’ ceremony. We’re so proud to see Bianca recognized for her excellence and representing our program on such a big stage!

Last Saturday, under supervision, a team of Communication Sciences undergraduate students and Doctor of Audiology students conducted 37 hearing screenings—each one a vital step in promoting early identification and intervention.

It was great to see the Doctoral students’ leadership and mentorship of undergraduate students throughout the day demonstrating the highest standards of clinical training and professional collaboration, helping to guide the next generation of audiologists and speech-language pathologists

A special thanks to Darla and the HHS Health Hive Committee for the design and organization and to the students and faculty for participating!
