Major Alex Hwang, UC Davis EM residency class of 2021, has received the International Award in Medicine as part of the American Medical Association Foundation’s 2025 Excellence in Medicine Awards.

Dr. Bryn Mumma elected to Society of Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) Board of Directors. As well as appointed Director of UC Davis Women in Medicine and Health Sciences (WIMHS) program.

Dr. Garen Wintemute elected to National Academy of Medicine! Basically the Hall of Fame of Medicine. Largely in recognition of his work in Violence Prevention

Dr. Tiffani Johnson elected to the American Pediatric Society in recognition of her distinguished leadership at a national and international levels on issues of children’s health.
