🧠 Neck pain? Don’t forget the SCM.
The sternocleidomastoid (SCM) is one of the most overlooked causes of neck pain and tension. When tight or dysfunctional, this muscle can limit your ability to turn your head, cause referral pain into the head and jaw, and even contribute to dizziness.

🔎 SMALL HIP FRACTURES, BIG CONSEQUENCES 💥

My client was diagnosed with small avulsion fractures at the ischial tuberosity and lesser trochanter on the right hip—this means tiny pieces of bone pulled away where powerful muscles like the hamstrings and iliopsoas attach. 💪🦴

Even though the joint space is preserved, this can still cause major pain, weakness, and movement dysfunction if not addressed correctly. Don’t ignore lingering hip discomfort — especially after years of wear and tear or trauma.

In this session, I highlight key muscle groups that often refer pain upward into the lumbar spine — even when they’re nowhere near it.
🧠 Muscles like:
• Serratus Posterior Inferior 🫁
• Latissimus Dorsi 💪
• Glutes + Hamstrings 🍑
