It's been a minute! I stepped away from social media for a bit because I needed to refocus. There are many exciting ventures currently in the works, but this is something I wanted to share with you all.

Most of you know I am a breast cancer survivor, which is why I decided to become an integrative life coach. The support I've been able to provide other women, and men, with a different diagnosis, has been immeasurable and heartwarming. ❤️

Resiliency Workshop!

"The only thing that is constant is change"
~ Heraclitus, Greek philosopher

We are currently living in a unique time in life. It is continually changing and evolving and when there seems to be much uncertainty, stress and negative feelings are in abundance. So how do you deal with difficult events that change your life?

Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of that uncertainty. Trauma, threats, adversity, stress of family, friends, the workplace and financial stressors, all play a role when we experience something negative.

Resilience means "bouncing back" from difficult experiences. People have an innate ability to demonstrate resiliency when they have learned these skills and build them into their lives. This 4-week workshop will do just that! Learn how to manage emotions to develop and maintain resiliency.

Beginning the week of March 24th.

February is Heart Health Month ❤️, so this is the perfect time to make a pledge to your heart and incorporate effective changes to your lifestyle. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S., but the good news is that with small changes, you can gain some heart healthy habits that will benefit you and your heart.

Fitness❗️

We all know the benefits from fitness. Gain muscle, keep fat away, improve cardiovascular system, and so much more! Try to get in at least 30 minutes of cardio daily and break into 10-minute increments if it’s easier. Power walk, swim, bike, run, hike, dance! There are so many ways to get your heart pumping for the better.

Nutrition❗️

Small changes here and there can really add up when it comes to your eating habits and heart health. Add an extra serving of fruit and of vegetables every day and make it a point to grab whole, fresh foods vs processed, highly saturated fat snacks. The nutrients, fiber, and vitamins in produce is so good for your heart and will help keep your energy levels up during the day.

Lifestyle ❗️

Stress. We all experience it and it really does have an adverse effect on our heart health. Some great ways to manage unhealthy stress is through breathing exercises, meditation, listening to music, getting in nature, laughing…so many options to help you alleviate what makes you anxious, worried and stressed.

Life has felt like a rickety roller this past year, and now that we have officially started 2025, it’s good to reflect all that has happened over the past 12 months.

Take the time to answer these questions or better yet, start a journal fresh for the new year. You’d actually be surprised how cathartic journaling can be, especially when you need to begin again and step off of dead-end paths to align new possibilities for yourself.

One of the most liberating lessons I’ve learned in life is gratitude, not only for what I have, but what I have control over.

There are so many who struggle with proper nutrition.

📍Schedules are hectic
📍Finances are tight
📍Food intolerances/allergies are restrictive
📍Medical diagnosis’s are prohibitive

So how do you know what is best?

The FDA does not approve vitamins and other dietary supplements, yet our store shelves display a vast amount of products for you to choose from.

Problem is, most of the vitamins, minerals and supplements contain way more than what is needed to maintain our systems and chances are, you will end up doing more harm than good over time.

Vitamins A, D, E, and K are fat-soluble, which means they are stored in the body’s fatty tissue and in the liver. Water-soluble vitamins dissolve in water and gets excreted quickly through our body once it goes beyond capacity.

Overconsumption of any of these over the counter products can cause toxicity, as well as a host of other problems, especially with the fat-soluble vitamins.
