He won his track meet in the high jump with a new personal record of 6’7” which is also state leading in this event. He’s the only student athlete nominated from a smaller rural school!

And he’s our grandson ♥️ Let’s go Gila Valley!

Daniel came to me directly from County Jail. Christopher came to me 2 days after his release.

They are now both employed, sober, and thriving🫶

They didn’t fit the qualifications of The Sunrise Program, but the both signed up for the New Hope Reentry Program.

They both committed to doing both and have showed up to every Sunrise class for the last 12 weeks.

Last night they graduated New Hope Reentry, my Prison to Possibility class. And confronting addictive behavior classes.

Onto the Sunrise Aftercare Program☀️☀️☀️Really Proud of these 2 young men🫶

Big shoutout to Simon, the members of New Hope Reentry & residents of the House of Hope.

I start inreach into prisons (mens & womens) for people paroling to Graham County MONTHS before they are released. About 5% actually engage and send back the application. The program start IN PRISON.

The guys who want it, and qualify for it, are residents at the House of Hope. They are all employed. They come and help the ladies at Sunrise Reentry. They are all in recovery and attend meetings.

Do we always have success, no. Are we experiencing a HUGE amount now. Yes!!!

Sunrise Reentry is for pre-adjudicated individuals. I love when the guys from DOC sit acrossed from them and break down how prison is and that it’s time to change now.

New Hope Reentry Program starts when I outreach to the individuals while they are still incarcerated in Department of Corrections.

Proud to announce that as of today….every one of the gentlemen that live at the House of Hope, are Employed and giving back to our community.

4 are employed in Morenci at the mine, the other two working construction.

Super proud of them💪🩷
