Thank you to David for entrusting us with your permanent memorialization.

This monument is cut from granite quarried in Elberton, Georgia, and features a very classic design including shape carved roses. Shape carving begins similarly to flat carving, with the design carved into the stone’s flat surface. However, the process then diverges as the carver employs sandblasting to add details and curves, creating a more three-dimensional effect.

The Vining Funeral Home was founded in 2009, making it the newest, most modern and largest funeral home in Safford, by Mark and his wife, Ruth. Born in Indiana, Mark has made the Gila Valley his home since 1998. Through our community involvement and an unwavering commitment to the families of Graham and Greenlee Counties, we have been blessed to serve hundreds of families in developing an excellent reputation of care.
