Exactly 9 years ago today, I was arrested and went to prison. This mugshot is exactly as bad as it looks.
I was already in the prison of addiction and alcohol and my poor mental health ruled my life.

Today I am an advocate. I’m really committed to breaking the stigma against mental health, incarceration and addiction . The through line of my message is hope.
To walk people into whats possible and into The Light..

My testimony is that the worst wounded soul, the most highly disfavored by society, a 19 time felon, and alcoholic, can recover.

And anything is possible. It’s never too late pick up the pen, and literally and figuratively re-write your story.
