Yesterday, we proudly marked the ribbon-cutting for MGRMC’s new Medical Office Complex 2.

This 36,000-square-foot facility enhances healthcare access and provides compassionate care to our community. Anticipated grand opening is August 4, 2025.

As our CEO Roland Knox emphasized, "Every time we have a project, we look to the community and say, 'What do you need?'—and then we build what the community needs. This building represents 36,000 square feet of access to care."

📍 Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center | Safford, AZ
Are you detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and interested in playing a vital role in patient care? We’re looking for an Per Diem ICU Monitor Tech to join our critical care team!
In this position, you’ll be the eyes on the monitor—carefully observing heart rhythms, identifying irregularities, and supporting our ICU nurses with essential clerical tasks. This dual role blends hands-on cardiac monitoring with unit coordination, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute directly to life-saving care.
💰 Pay Range: $16.50–$23.87/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
🔎 What You'll Do:
✔ Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms for ICU and telemetry patients
✔ Identify abnormalities and promptly alert nursing staff
✔ Record and label EKG strips every 4 hours
✔ Initiate/discontinue patient monitors and report equipment issues
✔ Support unit flow with clerical tasks like order transcription, census updates, and supply requests
📋 Minimum Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Ability to pass a cardiac rhythm interpretation test
– Proficiency in reading EKG rhythms
– Strong communication and computer skills
– Professional, organized, and calm in critical situations
⭐ Preferred:
– Previous monitor tech experience or completion of an EKG class
– Knowledge of medical terminology
– Familiarity with Meditech or similar systems

As a CT Tech (Multi-Modality), you’ll perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring safety, comfort, and clarity—every scan, every time. You’ll work closely with radiologists, fellow techs, and clinical staff to deliver accurate, timely results that support patient diagnosis and treatment.

🌀 What We’re Looking For:
✔ ARRT certification in Radiography (CT certification preferred)
✔ Arizona CRT license + CPR (AHA)

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Level III Trauma Center ribbon cutting celebration! We’re incredibly grateful for the Graham County Chamber of Commerce and all who helped make the event so meaningful.

We also want to recognize and thank Dr. Bart Carter, Shanna Cluff, and Kyle Lines for their leadership in making this designation possible, as well as those who spoke at the event for helping us honor this major milestone.

Mount Graham Regional Medical Center has been operating at Level III standards for some time, and now it’s officially recognized by the Arizona Department of Health Services. This designation reflects the hard work, skill, and dedication of our entire trauma team.
