Team Highlight: Amara All Staff Meeting 🌟

This all staff meeting was all about Customer Service — and not just the kind that serves our patients and partner facilities. Kristine Hunt led a powerful session reminding us that true customer service starts with how we support one another as colleagues. 💛

In a beautiful moment of team spirit, the entire room spontaneously stood up to sing “Lean on Me,” led by our amazing music therapist, Lurie. 🎶 It turned into an unforgettable team-building experience that perfectly captured what Amara Hospice is all about — compassion, connection, and community.

Amara Volunteer Mikala and her dog Reign have been providing pet therapy visits for us since the end of March. In the past, they completed their pet therapy certification through Alliance of Therapy Dogs, but Mikala and Reign have been working to complete additional therapy certification. Today Reign completed her classes for additional certification through USA Therapy Dogs. Congrats to our little graduate☺️
