Military Services

Providing proper honors to the men and women of our military, including those in active duty, reserves, or veterans, is one of our most humbling experiences and important services we provide.

In addition to the those provided by the US military, our funeral home offers the family of all eligible current or former members of the military in our care an extensive list of free military service options as way of thanking their loved one who defended our freedoms by acknowledging their military service.

Under the next-of-kin's direction, we can offer to display:
• The US flag on a pole to the left of the casket or urn in the chapel.
• The branch of military service emblem on a pole to the right of the casket or urn.
• The burial flag open across the casket or folded and temporarily placed in or near the casket or next to the urn during the visitation, funeral or memorial service.
• The branch of military service emblem below the casket in the chapel.
• The branch of military service emblem on both the front bumper and sides of the hearse to show respect for their service while enroute to the cemetery.

Military Funeral Honors at the Cemetery
• We can also arrange for military honors to be conducted at the cemetery rendered by a detail of active-duty uniformed military personnel from the veteran's branch of service and members from a local American Legion or VFW post as honor guard who will display colors, a gun salute, play Taps, fold the US flag, and provide the official presentation of the flag and final salute to the next-of-kin.
