Big thank you to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan and their many community partners like VBM - Victorious Believers Ministries Church of God in Christ, Zion Missionary Baptist Church, The Caring Closet, Old Town Christian Outreach and many others for helping keep our community fed!

If you are in need of assistance, please dial 2-1-1 to be connected to 211 Northeast Michigan, our community resource line.

If you’re able, please consider donating at https://bit.ly/NourishmentForNeighbors. All funds stay local by helping to stock local pantries, fill emergency food boxes and works to ensure that no neighbor is left hungry. ❤️

April is ! At WIC, we recognize the stress and challenges of parenthood, and we are here to support you every step of the way! 🫶 Learning to handle stress in a healthy way is good for you, and it helps you set a positive example for your kids. This April, take some time to reflect, model, and practice ways to cope with stress:
🎧Prioritize time for something you love: Take a walk, listen to music, or read.
☮️Practice mindfulness throughout your day: Try learning new breathing exercises!
🏃‍♀️‍➡️Move your body: Regular movement, even short walks, can reduce stress!

Talk to your local WIC staff to learn more about how WIC can support you and your family! Visit www.signupwic.com for more information. 💖
