☀️💦 Summer fun was in full swing at the Independence Village Fishers East pool party! Residents splashed, danced, and soaked up the sunshine with water balloon battles, a slip and slide, and even a wheelchair and walker wash station to make sure everyone was included in the fun. 🤩✨

This week, we're celebrating our wonderful resident Barb and her two lovable Shih Tzus — Chewbacca (aka Chewy) and Isabella (aka Peanut)! 🐶🐶💕

These biological siblings have only been part of our community for four months, but it feels like they’ve been family forever. Peanut is the outgoing social butterfly — she loves everyone and is always the first to make friends. Once she gives her stamp of approval, Chewy follows right behind, happy to go wherever his sister leads. 💖

Together with Barb, they bring so much warmth, joy, and charm to every corner of our community — whether they’re out for a walk, enjoying some sunshine, or greeting neighbors with tail wags and smiles.

📸 Bonus alert: We’ve included an extra picture of Peanut socializing on the front patio — because it’s just too cute not to share!

Let’s give a big round of a-paws for Barb, Chewy, and Peanut! 🐾💫

A huge thank you to the Panko family for hosting an unforgettable bonfire. From fun games of co****le to delicious hot dogs and classic s’mores by the fire, the evening was filled with warmth, laughter, and great company.

We’re so grateful for the generosity of the Panko family in creating such a welcoming, heartwarming experience for our residents and staff. Events like these truly make our community feel like home. ❤️🔥

Connie is one of our amazing residents who knows that life is simply better with a little purr-sonal touch. Connie and her feline sidekicks have been part of our community since 2019, and it’s safe to say they’ve made themselves right at home! Sally and Ally are more than just pets, they’re part of the family. Whether they’re sunbathing in a cozy window spot or keeping Connie company during quiet evenings, these two bring endless joy and calm to her home.
We love seeing the special bonds between our residents and their furry family members. Happy Furry Friday from Connie, Sally, and Ally! 🐾

Say hello to Bailey and his wonderful owner, John!

These two have been a part of our community for just over six months, and in that short time, they’ve captured all of our hearts. Whether it’s Bailey’s wagging tail or John’s kind smile, they bring so much joy and warmth to everyone they meet.
And guess what? Tomorrow is Bailey’s 4th birthday! We’re so excited to celebrate this special boy and show him just how loved he is. If you see Bailey and John around, be sure to stop and wish him the happiest of birthdays-and maybe sneak him a treat or two!
Here’s to many more tail wags, belly rubs, and joyful moments with Bailey. 🐶💛
